Lauren Alaina

Sassy southern singer, Lauren Alaina, will be bringing all the nostalgic vibes when she pays us a visit in the summer off the back of latest single, ‘Ladies In The ‘90s’. Delivering a sickly-sweet pop chorus, whilst still retaining her country twang, the track is a shining example of how you can cross the paths between pop and country so flawlessly and Lauren is more than happy to break down the barriers. With two critically-acclaimed albums behind her, she’s rapidly becoming one of the fiercest faces in the scene and it won’t be long before she becomes the new queen of country.

The Dead South

In 2012, out of the prairies in Canada, came four hairy men with a penchant for bluegrass inspired by the beauty of nature that surrounds them. The Dead South may sway more towards neo-folk tendencies but there’s a country spirit at heart, as they arm themselves with banjos, guitars and a dark humour that sets them apart from any other acts on the circuit. Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real

Lukas Nelson has country music running through his veins. The son of all-time legend, Willie Nelson, he’s spent his entire life surrounded by guitars and embodying the spirit of the genre. The Promise Of Real were formed when Lukas met his fellow musicians at college and the rest, as they say, is history. Touring the world together, as well as performing as the backing band for Neil Young, they’ve perfected the atmosphere and soul of country music and their catalogue of albums are always rapturously received when played live.
